this nebraska native has made his mark in giovane’s sweetest role of pastry chef. once upon a previous life, an MIT chemical engineering degree was calling his name, but chef jeffry dodged that bullet when he realized his calling would take on another form of science: tasty pastries. off to the french pastry school of chicago he went, where there was no turning back. the proud owner of two furry felines griffin and sasha, you’ll catch no cattitude from this guy.
you’ll be interested to know that with his 2012 colleague of the year prize money, kenny hopped on a flight to paris to take macaron classes at le cordon bleu. when not jet-setting or adding to his vast eyeglass collection, he’s fawning over his tiny chihuahua pup, oreo.
likely attributed to his competitive judo, kendo and ju jitsu history, chef peter is often described by his team as “precise, driven and gets sh*t done.” originally from korea, and having done stages in new york and australia, we’re awfully glad he now calls vancouver home.
